Risk and resilience
The spare is on the shelf before you need it.
We work out which parts would stop your line, then hold them on your behalf so a long lead time never becomes lost production.
Every plant has a handful of items that will stop it: a drive on the main line, a gearbox on the extruder, a bespoke motor that nobody stocks. Those are rarely the parts sitting in your stores. Rowlec works through your asset list with your engineers, agrees what is genuinely critical, and holds that stock on your behalf so the lead time is served before the failure, not after it.

What changes for you
What this looks like on the floor.
Lead time taken out of the failure
The long-lead-time item is already built and on a shelf, so a breakdown becomes a fitting job rather than a shutdown.
Spend focused where it counts
Criticality scoring tells you which spares are worth holding and which are not, so the budget goes to the real risks.
Stock off your own shelves
We can hold agreed spares on your behalf, which keeps the parts available without the value sitting in your own stores.
Spares that still work
Stored items are rotated, kept in the right conditions and checked, so the spare you fit has not degraded on the shelf.
How it works
Getting it up
and work.
No two operations run the same way, so we start by understanding yours before we propose anything.
-
01
Asset and risk review
We sit down with your engineering team, walk the critical assets and list the components whose failure would halt or seriously restrict production.
-
02
Criticality assessment
Each item is scored on consequence of failure, replacement lead time and availability, which gives a defensible list of what to hold and what to source on demand.
-
03
Agree the holding
We confirm quantities, where each spare is stored and who owns it, then place orders early so long manufacturing lead times are absorbed up front.
-
04
Store, rotate and check
Spares are labelled, stored in suitable conditions, rotated where shelf life applies and checked periodically so they are fit to fit.
-
05
Release and replace
When you call the spare off we despatch it straight away and immediately start the replacement, so the cover is never left open.

Automotive
Critical spares on the shelf before they fail
A tier one automotive supplier could not risk a press line waiting months for a long-lead-time drive. Rowlec now holds the critical spares, called off against an agreed stock profile.
Packaging Machinery
An obsolete drive found before the rebuild bill landed
A packaging operation faced a full control system rebuild when an obsolete inverter failed. Rowlec sourced a genuine unit worldwide and kept the line in production.
